How Shipping Works

All shipping on Play It Forward is handled through the United States Postal Service (USPS). When a buyer claims an item, we calculate the real shipping cost based on the distance between the donor's and buyer's zip codes.

The buyer pays only for shipping — there is no cost for the gear itself. Once payment is confirmed, we generate a prepaid USPS shipping label for the donor and provide tracking information to both parties.

Available shipping options include USPS Ground Advantage, Priority Mail, and Priority Mail Express, with delivery times ranging from 1 to 5 business days.
